This product is meant for a very specific purpose. It isn't to keep your guns safe or to be quickly able to access them. Or even to keep anyone else from using them. It's purely meant as a cheap way to legally store your firearms for people who don't care about the above because they are confident in their ability to prevent/handle those things themselves.
You could open this very easily with a screw, a pair of tweezers, or litterally just your bare hands.
I was aware of this before purchasing. I understand that this device has applications in stores and people who are safe anyway. It cert meets expectations, but if you want something secure, a ziptie is better off.

Recommend. I had the type that one gets from gun shows and new purchases from stores, however the bolt that holds these together, does not surpass the the back piece. Whenever I put my guns into my ridgid foam case barrel in, the bolt would take little gouges out of foam, these do not. I like the bigger key and some people wine about the key, hey, do what I did. Take an empty shell, like a 6.5x 55mm and put a slit in it, wedge the key in and solder it or good 5 min apoxy, and now you've turned it into a screw driver and they work fatactic.
